DEAR AVENIR

While initially drafted to hold a series of Pangram Postcards created from the submissions of over 20 other classmates’ postcards, I decided to incorporate the cards into the story instead. This faux novel with Avenir as the lead, is told through the perspective of a personified Mrs. Eaves, a journalist who was documenting the Pangram Murders. The story follows the crimes committed by the fictionalized James Avenir that occured from 1988 (the year the typeface Avenir was created) until his eventual capture in 2018.
